About: Levitation (1990-1994) were an innovative English psychedelic mind-punk outfit, fronted by ex-House of Love guitarist Terry Bickers. Levitation's music and attitude challenged an early Nineties UK alternative music scene dominated by shoegazing and madchester. The band were often credited in the music press as attempting to rehabilitate progressive rock.

now that I've picked myself up off the floor... how on earth did you find these recordings? I had no idea they even existed until recently but to hear Going Faster with Terry's vocals, to excuse the pun, leaves me speechless. Have you got any of the other lost recordings for the Meanwhile sessions? Someone should be releasing them properly. The world needs to hear them. I did hear that Dave Francolini was considering it but not sure if that's to be believed. Anyway, thank for letting us hear these recordings. ©
