About Me: Hi - my name's Ali. Currently living in the North East (UK). I'm a music teacher (guitar/piano) and session musician. I also produce/promote material for up + coming/unsigned musicians in my spare time. Currently working on a couple of instrumental projects of my own with a view to an 09' E.P cut, album, live local sessions and whatever follows, so I figured I'd have a look on here. That aside I get a buzz out of meeting like-minded, creative people and 'bouncing' off other musicians etc I'm told this is the place to do it.

Not looking for anything as far as a 'band' scenario is concerned - been there and done that more than I can stomach for now ('Dulce Est' is an old band name that I've kept for sentimental/mental reasons - didn't know what else to put) - looking to do my own thing now. That being said I'm always up for a good jam and guess I will be looking for session musicians when I get round to playing my stuff live so never say never etc
